It is microcontroller-controlled and charges a maximum of 16 AA or AAA rechargeable batteries simultaneously, even mixed together. Charging drawers for two 9-volt blocks each are available as accessories and can be combined with the AA/AAA charging drawers as required.
The Palmer 19" quick charger monitors the charge status of each individual battery, recognises faulty batteries and protects against overcharging and short circuits. The integrated multi-voltage power supply unit enables worldwide use. The Palmer BC 400 AA is supplied without rechargeable batteries.
