The MAPEX Armory series is aimed at drummers who are looking for a drum kit with professional features in the mid-price segment. Armory drums are easy to tune and equipped with features that enhance the sound and handling of the set.
All drums in the Armory series are fitted with SONIClear ridges, which make tuning much easier and guarantee that the drumheads are placed without wobbling. The increased contact surface of the head makes the sound of the shell more powerful and focussed. The response behaviour of the Armory Snares is also supported and improved with the SONIClear ridges.
SONIClear tom suspension:
The MAPEX SONIClear suspension is completely detached from the shell at the attachment points, allowing the hybrid drums of the Armory series made of maple and birch to breathe freely and realise their full potential. Another feature are the floor tom feet from the Saturn IV series, which retain the full resonance of the floor toms and seamlessly adapt them to the sound of the rack toms.
The Armory series is available in top lacquer finishes, which are applied by hand and are among the best the market has to offer.
