The FISA Suprema from KORG was developed over several years by a specially assembled team of accordion experts, engineers and sound designers. In addition to the authentic sound, the focus was also on the playing feel and response behaviour of the instrument. The biggest weakness of conventional digital accordions, the bellows, which is of fundamental importance for the playing and expressive possibilities of the instrument, was redeveloped from the ground up in order to come as close as possible to its role model in acoustic instruments - with success, because the "Advanced Proportional Bellows Behaviour" technology enables an incredibly realistic playing feel with almost infinitely variable dynamics, thanks to which special accordion techniques such as bellows shaking can also be produced. There are no fewer than 45 different accordion types from all over the world to choose from, whose sound is generated in real time thanks to the most advanced physical modelling technology and can therefore be modulated to your heart's content while playing - just like an acoustic instrument. All sound-shaping components such as the tuning of the individual reeds, the number and position of the soundposts inside and outside a cassotto, the bass system used, the mechanical background noises and even the age and general state of maintenance of the instrument can be customised to your own taste, allowing you to create your own dream instrument. There are 14 treble, 7 bass/chord and 7 melody/bass registers available for each accordion type. The FISA Suprema has 92 buttons and 120 basses to offer maximum playing flexibility. And if other sounds are required, the FISA Suprema is equipped with five different organ types as well as numerous orchestral and percussion instrument sounds, ranging from solo instruments to complete ensembles, which can be freely combined with other sounds as layer or split sounds. Up to 600 such sound combinations can be saved in the instrument as scenes and called up again. For particularly expressive performances, there are numerous freely assignable controllers such as three chin registers, a master bar, a ribbon controller on the bass side and an acceleration sensor, all of which can take on a variety of functions within a scene. Despite the extensive possibilities offered by the FISA Suprema, the clever user interface with few controls and an easy-to-read colour display on the top makes all settings simple and intuitive. The FISA Suprema also has a powerful, integrated speaker system and connection options via balanced instrument cables, USB (MIDI and audio) and wireless via Bluetooth (MIDI and audio) to cater for a wide range of applications. A headphone connection is also available for quiet practising. The replaceable battery can also be charged while playing and offers a playing time of approx. eight hours - regardless of the volume or type of performance. At just 10.3 kg, the FISA Suprema is so light that even longer performances are effortless. In addition to an external power supply unit, a matching soft case and comfortable shoulder straps are of course also included.
