The Mike McCready Stratocaster® captures the unmistakable sound and timeless spirit of one of rock's most enduring and influential bands. Developed in collaboration with the Pearl Jam guitarist, the Mike McCready Stratocaster® is the ultimate Strat® for any guitarist looking to recreate the powerful force and electrifying intensity of this grunge guitar icon.
The Mike McCready Stratocaster® features a handcrafted, heavily Road Worn®-lacquered finish on an alder body that replicates the scars of Mike's Strat worn over three decades of gruelling, sold-out tours and legendary performances. The comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard on a slim C maple neck is shaped to match McCready's treasured 1960 Strat, while the Custom Mike McCready Stratocaster pickups are tuned to reproduce Mike's vintage single coils for the same timeless tone, passion and energy that defines his signature sound. The vintage-style synchronised tremolo, bent steel saddles and cold-rolled steel block guarantee the purest Fender tone and performance.
With its worn finish and fat tone, the Mike McCready Stratocaster® epitomises the soulful essence of the iconic Strat that has helped Pearl Jam to chart hits and outstanding live performances in countless studios and on countless stages.

As the creator of the Telecaster and Stratocaster, founder Leo Fender created milestones in the history of electric guitars and thus a cult following. The name Fender alone is enough to evoke melodies, memories and emotions in the mind. When you hear a Fender Telecaster or a Fender Stratocaster, legendary songs such as “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix, “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple and “Cocaine” by Eric Clapton immediately come to mind. There is also a long history behind the famous Fender amps. Leo Fender started building guitar amps even before he built his first guitars. These were of course built using tube technology, Fender only started with solidstate models in the late 60s...
