The iD22 is an uncompromisingly high-quality USB 2.0 audio interface with integrated monitor controller. It offers two classic Audient Class-A microphone preamps in impressive quality as well as outstanding AD/DA converters with impressive depth and detail. The monitor controller, including mute/dim button and large, professional metal potentiometer, allows precise and convenient adjustment of the monitoring volume thanks to the practical desktop housing, making external controllers superfluous. Two balanced stereo outputs are suitable for direct connection of active studio monitors. Thanks to its innovative combination of microphone preamplifier, audio interface and monitor controller, the iD22 is one of the few truly professional complete solutions for home and project studios. The robust interface can be expanded by a further 8 analogue inputs via ADAT, e.g. using the Audient ASP880. Connection to a MAC or PC is convenient via USB 2.0.
